Spinal Decompression
|
|
Spinal Decompression is a form of computer-controlled, intermittent motorized or hydraulic traction used
as treatment for disc herniations, sciatica and low back pain. The proven theory behind non-surgical and
non-invasive spinal decompression is that significant distractive forces, when applied to the lumbar spine
in different directions can create a negative pressure in the center of the intervertebral disc, which
creates a vacuum effect that retracts or reduces the size of herniated or bulging discs.

Chiropractic Services
|
|
Chiropractic services are those that involve a range of diagnostic methods that include orthopedic and
neurological evaluation in order to provide non-invasive and non-surgical solutions to chronic pain
related to the spine and nervous system. Chiropractors use safe, spine manipulation methods and
conservative management in order to relieve patients of back pain and spine related complications.

IDET Procedure
|
|
IDET also know as "Intradiscal Electrothermal Annuloplasty" is a newly developed and tested minimally invasive
form of annuloplasty consisting of insertion into the affected disc of a hollow needle, through which a heating
wire is passed; once this has reached the disc, the wire is heated to 90°C for approximately fifteen minutes.
The heat is used to seal any ruptures or tears in the disc wall to top pain.

Nucleoplasty Procedure
|
|
Nucleoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure for treating patients symptomatic with low back and leg pain caused
by a herniated disc. The procedure works by utilizing a multifunctional device called a "wand". The wand is passed
through a thin introducer needle into the center of the affected disc, called the nucleus. It then creates a channel,
removing tissue and then it heats and shrinks the tissue through coagulation. This decompresses the disc, reducing
the pressure both inside the disc and on nerve roots.

Acupuncture
|
|
Acupuncture is a safe, tested, minimally invasive procedures for getting rid of chronic pain as well as treating
post-traumatic injuries caused in accidents. Paper thin needles are inserted into the back or affected areas in
special points on the body that correspond to the central nervous system. By tapping into these points its possible
to manage and reduce chronic pain symptoms.

Epidural Injections
|
|
An epidural injection, or epidural steroid injection, is used to help reduce the pain caused by a herniated disc,
degenerative disc disease, or spinal stenosis. Some patients who have some residual pain after the first injection
may receive a second or third epidural steroid injection.
